EXAMPLES OF HOW WE HAVE HELPED OUR CLIENTS
- Puget Sound Regional Council. Coordinated all outreach efforts of the PSRC’s Prosperity Partnership
project to communities of color in King, Pierce, Snohomish and Kitsap counties.
- Monorail Alignment Issue. Worked with various SODO businesses to change the
final monorail alignment through the industrial area. Our efforts helped to
convince the Seattle Public Schools to change their position on this issue and
helped to convince the Seattle Monorail board to change the staff recommended
alignment.
- One Seattle. Successfully ran the campaign that defeated the district elections charter amendment in 2003, keeping Seattle City Council members elected on an at-large basis. Clients included Boeing, SAFECO, Washington Mutual, Vulcan, and Starbucks.
- Industrial Property Owners Group in Seattle. Worked successfully with over 40 industrial property owners opposed to a proposed neighborhood land use plan that would have down-zoned their property. The plan was subsequently changed in accordance with the client’s goals.
- CityNet. A Maryland-based fiber optics firm wanted to do business with the city of Seattle to lay fiber optic cable through the city’s sewers lines to try and generate “the last mile connection” for its potential clients. They needed both an ordinance and a subsequent agreement with the Seattle Public Utilities to begin the process. We were successful in helping them obtain both.
- Urban League of Metropolitan Seattle (ULMS). G3 worked with ULMS in the development of the Urban League Village at the Colman School. G3 put together a community outreach strategy that garnered positive results by identifying major stakeholders, developing key messages and coordinating meetings with neighborhood groups and associations to discuss and gain support for the project.
